So, why explore? Because, I as said, it is an opportunity to grow. To turn away means we are guaranteed another opportunity down the road to explore and offer growth, unless we choose to ignore it again making room for one more chance to experience another upsetting situation a.k.a. life patterns.
At any rate, Sunday was one of those days for me. All day long, I was seeing videos of friends and family dumping ice on themselves to raise money for ALS research / awareness. Don't get me wrong; ALS, like any debilitating illness, are awful dis-eases to live with. Yet, how many times does someone need to show their breasts, shave their head, ride great distances to raise money for a cause. At what point are we going to wake up and realize the money we are donating / dumping into these foundations is not going towards research of a cure; it is furthering the research of dis-ease management with medications. Some may argue that doing these things feels good AND we need medications to which I cannot disagree. The love that stems from pulling together is remarkably healing for all involved, and when an illness gets to the point where the quality of life suffers, then medications are truly welcomed and encouraged. On the other hand, over 1800 health conditions are linked to genetic defects, ALS included. 'They' know the underlying cause to this illness as well as all the rest; yet, they choose to tell us they do not have a cure! You see, this very point was / is at the root of my upset / passion. The fact that we believe them, so much so, that we willingly give of our time and money in order to help those closest to us suffering with these incurable / irreparable dis-eases, and yet, for what?!
Let me just say this, as a wellness practitioner / genomic specialist AND well researched professional, the answer / cure lies in the genes. Dis-ease and the decline of health is due to the misuse of nutrients by the body ultimately causing toxic reactions / oxidative stress. How do we change this? Well, it starts with a DNA test to determine the variations within the individual;s genome. Once the nutritional breakdowns are determined, assisting the body with intentional dietary recommendations and essential oils for modifying gene expression are a sure bet the body will respond as it is designed to do. In the event medications are in the picture, it is imperative that great consideration be given to all herbals and oils selected as interactions and adverse reactions are inevitable.
Medications originated from the research of plants on the body. In fact, the studies continue today.; 'they' isolate the active ingredients and mass produce pharmaceuticals. The problem is 'they' don't use the plants. Knowing the toxic reactions in the body are a result of improperly used nutrients, doesn't it make sense to use the entire plant which contains not only the volatile oils needed for bridging the gap and modifying gene expression as well as the nutrients needed by that gene?!
From my perspective, it is time we stop dumping our money into a story and start calling the shots demanding our efforts be invested into wellness.
