Recently, I was introduced to this article (Seven Facts You Should Know About Ebola) & while I am THRILLED to see a doctor recommend oils, I would like to offer a little insight into the suggestions. Oregano is an antibacterial & long term use compromises the liver. There are several different types of thyme & not all are anti-viral, plus there is a better choice. Cinnamon is only an antiseptic, not anti-viral plus it has blood thinning effects & not recommended for those using blood thinners or even exposed to this virus. Clove oil is even more of a blood thinner and is a good antiseptic; although not anti-viral. I would eliminate lemon altogether as it inhibits the production of some very necessary chemicals in the body. Additionally, there are several different types of rosemary & eucalyptus with only 1 type of eucalyptus being anti-viral. The others are either expectorants or have other systemic effects depending on what we're talking about plus rosemary should not be used for an extended period of time. Tea Tree is a good anti-infective; yet, not an oil I would use to protect against Ebola. Additionally, I never recommend ingesting the oils as digestion begins in the mouth & 'we' want the complete molecule to be taken into the blood stream. It doesn't take a lot. 1 drop at the base of the throat as you will benefit from inhaling the oils as well as get it into the bloodstream plus a drop or two under the arms. Typically, I would encourage people to improve their immunity by addressing the variations in their genome; however, this is an aggressive virus & for people at risk, a blend of ravensare, hyssop decumbens & myrrh. Additionally, bolstering the body with custom organic teas that improve the health of the digestive system will make a tremendous difference as it also provides anti-oxidants & other nutrients...
